The armhole is the whole argument
A vest only layers well if it was cut for it. Ours sit deeper at the armhole and shorter in the body than a sweater, so the cuff and the shirt hem still show and the shoulder does not bunch under a coat. Every style lists its chest measurement flat, in inches, and the fabric weight in ounces, so the layer is chosen before it is worn.

Why the rail is short
Eight pieces in total, because a layering wardrobe collapses the moment it grows: one shirt has to work under every vest, and one vest has to sit over every shirt.
So the shirt block is cut once and repeated in poplin, flannel and a cotton-modal blend, and the vests share a single armhole depth. What changes is the colour and the hand of the fabric, not the fit.
Delivery, returns and the unglamorous details
Orders are packed in 1-3 business days and delivery inside the United States is estimated at 15 business days, tracked from dispatch. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the distance the parcel travels, with no free-shipping threshold. Unused garments can go back within 30 days; a damaged parcel should be reported within 48 hours and one that stops moving is traced after 7 days.
